OKTIS is conducting an executive search on behalf of a stealth-mode iGaming & crypto venture for a hands-on Technical Lead with deep expertise in launching white-label iGaming solutions. This is a unique opportunity to drive the end-to-end technical execution of a high-performance gaming platform, leading by example as an expert coder while also providing strategic leadership.

We are looking for a highly skilled engineering leader with extensive experience in Next.js, AWS, and TypeScript, who thrives in fast-paced, high-traffic environments and understands the unique challenges of building and scaling iGaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and launch a white-label iGaming solution, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Remain hands-on with coding while setting the technical vision for the platform.
• Lead and mentor a remote engineering team, enforcing best coding practices and Agile methodologies.
• Optimise AWS infrastructure (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB) for performance, resilience, and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain frontend (React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS) and backend (REST, GraphQL, serverless) components.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) for efficient, automated deployments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and implement robust security protocols for player data protection.
• Drive performance optimisations, including SEO, caching, and CDN strategies, to enhance user experience.

Requirements

• Vast engineering experience, with substantial recent experience as a Technical Lead in iGaming.
• Extensive hands-on coding experience with Next.js, TypeScript, AWS, and serverless architectures.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling white-label iGaming platforms.
• Deep understanding of iGaming infrastructure, including payment integrations, KYC processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote, high-performing engineering teams.
• Ability to balance hands-on development with strategic decision-making.
• Experience working in crypto or fintech is a strong plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

This role can be remote based from anywhere but with a strong preference for those based in the UAE or Asia.
